Guest Post at Eat Yourself Skinny

It’s a beautiful sunny Friday. It’s Guest Post Friday today and I’m so thrilled to be a guest over at the lovely Kelly’s blog, Eat Yourself Skinny.

I first discovered Kelly’s blog via her Facebook page. The title was just too intriguing; I mean, who doesn’t dream of eating away, enjoying their food, AND being skinny at the same time?  When you take one look at the gorgeous Kelly, you immediately hit, “Like”, “Wish I Could Be-Like”, “Want to Be-Like”… I even tried a Thai anti-ageing facial on holiday to look like Kelly.  No luck, but they did make better use of the hotel’s tummy-stripping coffee by using it as a beauty treatment.

When I first came to live in France, it was particularly impressive to see how French women are just, well, so slim. How could they be so slender yet enjoy their food so much?  They also love their wine, too.  In fact, that’s something strikingly similar to Kelly’s wonderful view of enjoying food. Kelly’s readers don’t need any introduction to her tasty and healthy recipes.  Each one is just as good as the other! So what on earth could I prepare for her skinny-conscious readers?

I absolutely love the idea of these peaches. I love to eat fatty deserts, but they just don’t love me (just ask my thighs). This looks like you get loads of great flavour without the compromise, and its also super seasonal.

Thanks, Hester. It’s a family winner and the only way to get my daughter to eat raspberries – she normally doesn’t like them since “they’re hairy”! Still don’t understand how she’ll eat this one but hey, it works.

Those lavender peaches look gorgeous! So happy I finally got to visit a lavender while in England recently. Still thinking of what to make for the post. Love the idea of using peaches as they are abundant right now.
