What a great giveaway! Hope the winner enjoyed your book! I believe joining twitter is somewhat helpful, but like others have pointed out, a tad time consuming. It was the final social networking site that I joined that I use frequently. I’ve joined so many such as tumblr, stumbleupon, blogfrog etc, I barely ever use those. But between FoodBuzz, Facebook and Twitter, I reach a large audience that way. A great way I cut back time is by connecting some accounts with twitter so it automatically tweets something I am sharing on another site. It helps to broaden your audience and is a great way of getting even more exposure. Since you are already a celebrity in the food writing industry, I’m sure fans would be very excited to follow you, they feel closer to you and can share some of your work that way by retweeting, and spreading the word to others to follow you. Sorry I wrote so much lol. Hope you do join twitter, it’s not nearly as time consuming as other social networking sites. When you do I’ll be sure to spread the word =]

Thank you so much for your advice on Twitter. If I can do a double whammy then that is more interesting. Will check this out. You’re a star! J xo

That was really nice of you to do the giveaway…I’m sad that I didn’t win, but that means that I’m just going to have to buy your book! I hope you are well!

I’m on Twitter, but I certainly haven’t mastered it. I do enjoy getting tweets or retweets of my posts by foodie friends…but I it seems I spend more time following up with comments on my blog or on facebook and foodbuzz. Just not enough time to do everything well 🙂 Have a great week, Jill…and it was fun to see your book giveaway on Jen’s blog~

I recently signed up for Twitter and, while it’s fun, it’s still a bit of a puzzle to me that I’ve yet to figure out. Doing a nice job on one’s blog takes a lot of time itself — adding Foodbuzz, Facebook AND Twitter is a lot to keep up with, and do it well and honestly.

Thanks for the tour – I love that place too. Debussy has many memories for me also. No twitter for me thank you. Anyway Christmas present buying I have started and your book is top of the list for some friends.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving that sweet comment! Your macs are gorgeous and I’ve actually been in the mood to make macs again lately…it’s been too long for me! 🙂

About Twitter…I’m on it, but very minimally. It’s such a flood of information, which makes it so hard to keep up with. Plus there’s so much other social media to contend with!

I have a twitter account but I have to say I’m not the most active twitter. The new post gets automatically tweeted and when someone mention you I get notify email and pings me on my cell. Otherwise I don’t even open the twitter. I just don’t want to keep checking while kids are around me, so that’s my limit. I’m heading over now.

I joined Twitter a while back. I don’t follow it so much because I’m so busy with other things. However, that said, everytime I have a blog post it automatically goes to Twitter which in turn has brought awareness to my site and that I teach culinary classes. In that regard it’s been great. I do enjoy viewing all the various business that follow me. In turn I follow most of them unless they’re x-rated.

Since I already have your wonderful book I’m not entering the giveaway.

Nice of you and your publishing company to provide for Jennifer’s give away.
I am not on twitter, mainly because I am very busy with the Foodbuzz community. Tweeting, as far as I am concerned, is something that would take more time due to the reciprocation factor. I also saw a Foodbuzz blogger post that FB, Twitter and Facebook is way to much to handle.
